The fantasia:
Equine Affaire’s popular musical celebration of the horse, the Fantasia, is an evening of unforgettable equestrian entertainment that delights horse lovers young and old and creates the perfect ending to a busy day of learning, shopping, and reveling in all things horse-related at Equine Affaire! The Fantasia will take place at 7:30pm on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (April 9-11) in the Taft coliseum at the Ohio Expo Center and is made possible through the generous sponsorship of Western Edge.

 

WHAT TO EXPECT . . .
As the entertainment “cornerstone” of Equine Affaire, the Fantasia is always an uplifting and special reminder of why we love horses—showcasing their beauty, diversity, athleticism, intelligence, and willing spirit. For those not familiar with the Fantasia, it is best described as a “musical celebration of the horse” featuring outstanding equine and equestrian performers from all corners of the nation choreographed to musical styles ranging from traditional and country to classical and contemporary. From reining and jousting to driving, liberty, drill teams, comedy, and more, the Fantasia is sure to delight audiences of all ages! Put a lot of great horses, great riders, great music, and an energized audience of die-hard horse lovers in one coliseum and—voila!—you have all the ingredients for the Fantasia. The 2026 Fantasia will have just the right blend of drama, fast-paced action, remarkable horsemanship, and amazing horses. Please be aware that this year’s show may feature loud noises or strobing lights.

The doors to the Ohio Expo Center coliseum will open for the Fantasia at 6:30 each evening and the show will begin at 7:30pm. Tickets range in price from $16 to $25 plus a processing/seat selection and 5% Columbus ticket tax fee. Advance tickets may be purchased beginning December 3 online with a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or Discover) or by calling (740) 845-0085 Monday-Friday from 9:00am – 5:00pm Eastern.
